Spiritual evolution means that your ensouling entity,
your Soul, works through the karma separating it from the next nodal point
(a nodal point is a station in which the Soul dwells on its path) on its
spiritual path. When this karma is burned away, the Soul moves on to this
next nodal point. This has been called expansion of Consciousness, undergoing
Initiation or Samadhi.
When this occurs, a similar unfolding takes place in
each of the Souls vehicles, so that the vehicles are tuned in synchrony
with the Souls new state of spiritual evolution.
As a result of this process, you gain new understanding
and insight, let go of negative attitudes and unconsciously held feelings,
and begin to bring out new virtues, awaken new powers or abilities, and
may acquire new compassion and caring for others.
While some spiritual evolution occurs just as a result
of karmic working-through, this process is very slow.
Those who live a virtuous, religious and charitable
life purify one nodal point every 12 years. Those who use transformational
techniques or receive the Light (known as Holy Spirit, Light Immersion
or Shaktipat Baraka) from a Master may accelerate this spiritual evolution
exponentially. How about opening up to 8, 9 or 10 nodal points per day?
Religion, which is the major purveyor of morality to
humanity, inculcates the seeds of self-discipline and tries to instill
the principles that bring about right relations with others, unfortunately
has, in many cases, lost the key to inner transformation.
They pray or invoke the Divine to change them and transform
them, but without the requisite self-discipline to meditate and correctly
utilize the tools for transformation or without access to an Initiator,
one who gives the Light, this method rarely produces much fruit. [Sometimes,
it may even produce unbalance by overdeveloping a particular vehicle,
leading to odd beliefs, fanaticism, dissociation and even insanity.]
People pray to change others. They pray to change themselves.
But do they understand what causes change and what change really is?
Genuine, permanent change or transformation occurs when
karma is dissolved. Karma is the desire-laden, tenacious impressions layered
in the unconscious mind. Karma is at bottom a seed of desire that becomes
subtle mental patterns or impressions that give rise to the visual images
(it can also be expressed through other sensory modalities) of fantasy
and gives rise to patterns of thinking, believing, feeling and behaving.
Ultimately, bringing down the Light Fire of God, the
Spirit, is the key to burning karma. Each transformational technique invokes
the Light Fire and it actively burns karma. When sufficient karma is burned
up, the Soul is freed up to move to the next nodal point in its spiritual
evolution.
Relationships remain stuck in old patterns unless this
genuine change of perspective occurs, engendered by transformation. Human
lives recapitulate the same weary patterns, year in and year out, until
the karma that produces them are dissolved.
Spiritual evolution is all about undergoing this process
of transformation. Not a few times in a lifetime, but regularly, consciously,
intentionally, with full understanding of what you are doing and why you
are doing it.
