Winter 2009

Light Sittings will be held as usual on the second Sunday of each month, except for January. Light sittings will be held on 2/8/09 and 3/8/08. Light Sittings are held at 11:00am in our West Hollywood location. Light Sittings are always free of charge.

We will continue holding our second monthly Light Sitting at our West Hollywood (or alternate) locations on 1/25/09, 2/22/09 and 3/22/09.

We have begun doing regular once monthly Light Sittings in Northern San Diego County at locations in Oceanside, Valley Center, Encinitas and San Diego. We will continue this sitting as long as there is interest. This sitting is held at 2:00pm. We will hold this Light Sitting on 1/18/09, 2/15/09, and 3/15/09. If we start a Master Course class in late January or early February, we will not be doing the 2/15/09 Light Sitting in San Diego County.

If there is interest and our host agrees to put up with us for another three to four hours, we will consider doing some workshops for you San Diego area folks after the Light Sitting.

Attending a Light Sitting

It is suggested that you have some familiarity with our work and our lineage, plus a background having done some meditation, before showing up here (so you won't be absolutely lost). Light sittings typically last for up to an hour. If you are not used to "sitting for development", you may find yourself ill at ease at these events.

Most of the people attending these events have taken The Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation at least once, completed the Accelerated Meditation Program, or attended one of our workshops.

Support for Master Course Completers

For those of you who have taken The Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation, we have available two CDs with guided meditations for the key techniques of this class, as many of you have requested.

The Satsang Program Home Study Course is also available, so you can experience this powerful guided meditation course at home. It contains 16 CDs and articles. This is available to anyone who has completed the Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation or the Accelrated Meditation Program [see below for details].

Our New Meditation Programs

For those of you that don't live in the greater Los Angeles area and can't come to our classes, we now have available the Integral meditation course called the Accelerated Meditation Program (AMP) that you can study privately, no matter where you live in the world.

AMP is a version of the Master Course that teaches the essential core techniques of Integral Meditation, plus everything you learn in the class except the Kundalini meditation technique (sorry, we don't teach this without direct supervision—too many problems can occur when people start dabbling with this energy without guidance). It's got CDs, a personalized reading, a workbook, and well, you'll be excited!

For all of you AMPers who have begged to learn our safe kundalini method, here's how you get it:

After you complete the AMP, you send us back the final exam. If you pass it, you get a free phone consultation where I will go over the core techniques to make sure you are doing them right. You can formally request, with a nominal charge for my time, a by phone training in kundalini in which I supervise you in its correct, safe and appropriate use and show you how to properly ground yourself after using this method.

Course. It is for those who have completed our basic courses in meditation—either the Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation or the Accelerate Meditation Program.

This is a comprehensive 104 week, 50 lesson meditation and consciousness studies program that maps the entire Continuum of Consciousness from waking awareness in the Conscious mind to the highest Planes of the Transcendental Sphere.

Upcoming Events

We also plan a new workshop called "The Vision Workshop" in April, final date to be announced. This workshop is designed to help those of you who have been complaining that you can't see anything in meditation. It shows you how to see inside—so you're not getting lost in mystical mists.

For those of you who have expressed interest in it, I'll bring back the ever popular, "How to Read Your Own Past Lives Workshop" this year, in March—email me if you are interested in taking this class or hosting it.

We have a Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation planned for Los Angeles planned for either 1/25/09 or 2/1/08 in the Hollywood area. You can still get into this class, but email me to learn of the details.

If you want to take this Winter class and can't come to the scheduled ones, you can get together a group on Sunday nights. I'll take time off from my writing to teach the class. I want five or more committed people and I'll teach this class. [Committed means "people come to each class and do the homework." Oh please! This is not a lookie-loo class, it's for those who are serious about learning meditation.]

Oh, I haven't told you? We've published three more books this year, and there are several more to come. For information on the books now available, check out Our New Books.

A new book was released in August 2008. It's called A Mudrashram® Reader: Understanding Integral Meditation. This one is a must have. It puts web articles, workshop handouts (you haven't seen these unless you've been hanging with us and going to the Light Sittings and workshops), and brand new articles nobody has seen—all in one place.

We released in December 2008, The Collected Poetry of George A. Boyd, volume one, and The Discourses of Swami Prem
Dayal, second edition.

If you are a poetry lover, you will go flippers with George's new poetry book! He has a way of using poetry to guide you into ecstatic states of consciousness and reveal mystical truths. His poetry will blow your mind!

If you are interested in checking out the early channeled teachings that George received from one of the Mudrashram® Multiplane Masters, Swami Prem Dayal, they are captured in our short volume, The Discourses of Swami Prem Dayal, second edition.

We're publishing two types of books.

The first type is just for those of who have completed the Mudrashram® Master Course in Meditation or the Accelerated Meditation Program—it's called the Initiate's Library.

The second type of book is, well, for everybody. These books are listed in Books in Print. They are listed in the Library of Congress...and in good time, they'll probably show up on Amazon.com and in book stores. You can get them from us direct for a substantial discount over the retail price.
